Why should I sign up?

In Bulgaria there are half a million of expats that have no one to ask for a service they would need. Our goal is to unite all services possible in one website, where each person can get a clear overview of the options along with their ratings provided by the users. Whether you are a service provider or a customer, ExpatAssistant is the place for you.

How do I sign up?

Go to Sign up and follow the steps on the website. Once you agree to the terms and conditions you will have an account created. After that you can simply add a new listing Post a Service button at the upper right corner (purple button). There you can fill all the details and choose subscription plan. You can edit your offer as often as you wish from your Account page.

Is the subscription going to automatically renew?

The answer is simply yes. It depends on the plan you have chosen, but at the end of each period the subscription will automatically renew by requesting a payment from you.

If you want to cancel your subscription you need to go to Subscription section in your profile and press Manage subcription button. After this you need to fill out the email address you subscribed with, so we can send you the code for entering the Stripe platform with your subscrition options. This way we can guarantee your security.   

How many services can I post?

You get the opportunity to publish one service per subscription. If you provide more services and you want to publish them, you should sign up and subscribe multiple times using different emails.

What happens to my service if my subscription is terminated?

In case no payment is made at the end of the subscription period, your published offer would be hidden from the users. Your offer will be stored in our system and will become visible again once you renew your subscription or you start a new one.

What should I do if a category I want is not on the website?

What personal information is being stored?

The information we are storing is the information that will be visible to all users – name, phone number, address, email. We will not store your payment details for the subscription and each account’s password is encrypted and stored in our database, which ensures that nobody else except you will have access to your account.

I cannot find the App of Expat Assistant for my mobile phone or tablet

This is correct. We haven’t developed an App yet, but you can simply put an icon of our platform to your moble phone or table so it will act like an App

1. Browse in Safari for Expat assistant: https://expatassistant.net/

2. Tap the button with arrow pointing up at the upper right corner and scroll down to “Add to home sreen”

3. Tap “Add to home sreen” and enjoy our platform directly on your iPhone or iPad next to the other App icons

For Android users: 

1. Browse in Chrome for Expat assistant: https://expatassistant.net/

2. Tap the 3 vertical dots at the upper right corner and scroll down to “Add to home sreen”
